Question 1

How do I make a GIF from pictures?

Accepted Answer

Drop your images, or paste them with Ctrl+V, then put them in order with the arrows. Pick how long each image shows and the width, click Make GIF, check the preview and download.

Question 2

Which image formats work?

Accepted Answer

PNG, JPG, WebP, BMP and GIF. You can mix them: every image is drawn at the size of the first one. An animated GIF adds only its first frame; to join animated GIFs, use Merge GIFs.

Question 3

What if my images are different sizes?

Accepted Answer

The GIF takes the shape of the first image. Other images are scaled to fit inside it without cropping, and any space left over is transparent.

Question 4

How many images can I use?

Accepted Answer

As many as you like for the preview. Free downloads combine up to 20 images and 25 MB of files; Pro has no limit.

Question 5

Can I turn a PNG or JPG into a GIF?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Drop a single image to convert it to a GIF file, or several to make an animation. PNG transparency is kept.

Question 6

Are my photos uploaded?

Accepted Answer

No. The images are drawn and encoded into a GIF on your device, so they never leave your browser. There's no watermark.
